Forth Student Musician Competition
In the Capital Region
Performance by the finalists will be on Wednesday, June 25th at 7:00 pm at the Bennington Center for the Arts on Rt 9 & Gypsy Lane in Bennington, VT.

You are invited to attend the finals in this, our forth anual competition in the area. Each year the level of musicians is more challenging to our panel of judges.

Come and listen to these talented and disciplined young people. We guarantee you it will boost your faith in the future of music.

The five finalists are:

  • Soprano  Katie Beck from Bennington, VT
  • Pianist Aaron Butler from Salem, NY
  • Pianist Nicholas Hetko from Cambridge, NY
  • Flutist Christine Lanoue from Bennington, VT
  • Percussionist Jay Sager from Bennington, VT
First Place Award: $500 award to be used for future musical study
Second Place Award: $300 award to be used for future musical study
Third Place Award: $200 award to be used for future musical study
Prize winners will be invited to perform in concert with L’Ensemble in 2008
